Ken Stewart

CHAIRMAN

Ken Stewart is Chairman of Goldcet Africa. He is internationally respected and recognised for his skills and experience over many years in Marketing, Sales and in International Business Development. Having graduated in Politics and Government and in International Development & Business Studies, he chaired the United Nations Association (Scotland) working group, which researched and analysed the track record and historic performance of International Development funding. He was then appointed as Adviser then Chairman of the AFS Group where he championed their successful development programmes into Africa which emphasise pursuing ethical business strategies, strong corporate integrity, transparency, community engagement and the coaching and development of entrepreneurial skills.

Festus Ogunmola

GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Festus Ogunmola is Chief Executive of Goldcet Africa. Festus is a Chartered Accountant and Banker. He has 30 years’ experience in international Banking and business development with particular emphasis and expertise in Compliance, Corporate and Risk Management. He has enjoyed executive roles with First National Bank of Chicago, Barclays Bank in the UK and while based in London, was CFO for HM the Queen Mother’s Nursing Institute and Fund. As well as his current role as Senior Executive President of AFS Group, He is chairman of both Zuluss.com where he has responsibility for E-Commerce business growth in Nigeria and Ghana and of Osher Golden where he oversees African operations. His reputation for corporate transparency and accountability has complemented his entrepreneurial skills and earned him respect and recognition both in the UK and in Africa. He operates closely with the United Nations UNCTAD division and presents key corporate papers on their behalf which amply demonstrate his experience in successfully introducing and implementing business development and transformation solutions which create sustainable legacy platforms to assist disadvantaged nations.

Grant Stewart

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Grant Stewart is Business Development & Director for Corporate Growth for Goldcet Africa. Grant has successfully introduced new business and commercial successes within the global energy sector. His knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector and his professional network of long-established contacts within the hydrocarbons industry has endowed him with both affinity and unprecedented access to key industry decision makers. An excellent and skilled communicator, Grant in the past twenty years, has helped establish a globally respected international consultancy which provides fully integrated outsource knowledge management solutions and business development expertise. His proven ability to recognise commercial opportunity and his team building and relationship management skills, enable him to rapidly convert this into delivering profit, brand development and corporate success.

Rosemary Gituma

EAST AFRICA REGION

Rosemary Gituma is a Chartered Accountant and Chair of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. She has over 28 years of extensive experience in Strategic Management, Financial Management and Business Administration. Rosemary has earned respect for her professionalism and entrepreneurial skills while working in Government, State and Private Sector businesses in fields such as Financial Services, Estate and Commercial Development and in the Service Sector including Coca-Cola, Care Kenya, Kenya Airways and Deloitte. She is currently CEO for East Africa and the ‘Comesa’ Region for TACT which provides technological, IT and corporate ‘transactionnal’ solutions for African business. She is also CEO for Eastern Africa for the AFS Group and is a confidant and adviser to the Kenyan Government where she actively participates as a key expert and adviser in Kenya’s Trans-African Business Development and Trade Delegations including those into Germany, Belgium, Israel, Botswana, Mauritius and Uganda.

Kayode Samson Oluwaremi (KAY) - Business Development Director

NIGERIA DESIGNATE

Kayode has worked in the United Kingdom with various social care agencies in the community for over 25 years. These agencies includes; Children’s Homes, Schools, Sunday Schools, Youth Clubs and Youth offender teams. Kay has worked in the capacity of a Resource centre officer, community youth coordinator, Youth director and as a Sunday school teacher. He started his higher education at University of Ibadan Science Laboratory Tech, graduated at Kingston University UK in Biomedical Science. He also attended Green Pasture Bible School where he bagged a Diploma in Christian Religion Studies. He has undergone a higher diploma course in Coaching and mentoring with the University of Edinburgh Business School and his Postgraduate from Napier University, Edinburgh. He currently serves as Director of Primeline Cleaners Ltd Nigeria, Formal AGM Dansaki Petroleum Limited and Associate National Coordinator of SAF Foundation Nigeria. He is a registered Career practitioner in UK ,also an active member of Career Development institute UK. Kay has also made tremendous contributions to secondary schools in Ibadan, Oyo State where his philanthropic gestures have been keenly felt. He has supported poor children’s access to education and bequeathed funds and urgently needed educational materials to many schools.

Gbemi Laditan

WEST AFRICA REGION

Gbemi Laditan is a Chartered Accountant (Best graduating female Accountant and Price winner) and business expert with over twenty-eight years experience in financial control, consultancy, management accounting, taxation, operations, corporate finance, private equity, SME capacity building, marketing, credit and auditing. She possesses proven abilities in defining organisational direction, instituting corporate governance, achieving targets and systems optimisation. As a strategic thinker, she thrives in situations that require turn around management or significant improvements. Gbemi established a successful career in banking spanning twenty four years. Her last position being with United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc as a member of general management. She has held Board level positions in various companies including; United Bank for Africa Private Equity Limited (MD/CEO), Abuja Leasing Company Limited, Lekky Budget Hotels Limited, MP Budget Limited, Sundry Foods Limited, Omonefe Foods Limited and Beachgate Hotels Limited. Gbemi is currently Executive Director of Superflux International the foremost security documentation and printing company, covering West Africa.

George Mothema

SOUTH AFRICA REGION

George Mothema is a qualified attorney and citizen of South Africa. He is currently the Chairman of the Aviation Coordination Services Board (a company established by a Trust comprised of the Board of Airlines Association - representing foreign airlines, and the Airline Associations of Southern Africa and domestic airlines within the SADC region) which places over $3 billion insurance cover annually with Lloyds of London. George has served as the Chairman of the South African Post Office and the Post Bank with a R10 billion turnover. He reported directly to the Minister of Communications and the South African Parliament. From 2012 to 2018, George served as a Non-Executive Director and later the Chairman of the Board of the South African Express which is a major stateowned regional carrier operating within the secondary hub market, where he reported to the Minister of Public Enterprises. Whilst in practise, George specialised in criminal, commercial law and has experience of major commercial and privatisation transactions. He is a specialist in business acquisitions, including negotiation, agreements, business turnaround, IT contracts, government stakeholder relations and all legal aspects of commercial trading.

Dr El Houssein Dardouri

NORTH AFRICA REGION

Dr El Houssein Dardouri is a renowned global Mathematician and also holds Degrees in Astrophysics and Mineral Chemistry. He is Chairman of Alpha FTS the Moroccan based Multilateral International Convention, Research and Development in Social Sciences and Humanities institution. He is an active participant in UN World Forums on Investment, the Environment, Law and Justice. He is President of the association of Moroccan Tradesmen and Workers and owns the investment company entitled Alpha LOC. His work for the UNFCCC in Paris highlighted the statistical effects of climate change on Algae and other Oceanic life forms. He also contributed to the Franco-Magreb Symposium on Renewable Energy. Houssein enjoys an extensive network of proven and respected professional, business and high level political connections throughout North Africa.
