Goldcet Africa Plc is a UK based brand of a company, an international business leading the way in Agriculture, Renewables and Bio-Solutions. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to cover Nigeria and Ghana, ideally with proven agri-business experience in Africa. Based at our temporary office in Abuja you will be required to travel at least 60% of the time within the UK and Africa to support our franchise and Agency network and to our head office in Edinburgh.
Main Tasks
• Ensuring full communication coverage and brand positioning through traditional and digital media planning, the corporate website and social media.
• Implementation of lead generation activities, organising national events and campaigns whilst also supporting local events and campaigns.
• Definition and realisation of the Regional marketing plan, with full budget responsibility and in close cooperation with Regional Director.
• Support on the creation and implementation of Franchise and Agencies’ marketing plan.
• Advise on marketing activities, monitor branding and the Goldcet corporate identity according to guidelines.
• Use of CRM for direct marketing activities.
• Coordination of the proof-reading and updating of brochures, corporate website and press releases.
• Training and support of franchisees and Agents on the use of corporate marketing tools.
• Participation on periodical internal marketing meetings on a regional and international level.
• Monitoring of customer satisfaction, implementing the right actions to improve it when needed.
• Networking with media and sector associations.
• Market and customer segmentation analyses.
• Ensure good communication between departments, both internally and externally.

Your background
We are looking for a passionate Senior Marketing Specialist, willing to work in an innovative and dynamic company with an international scope.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You are skilled with main Office applications and have a deep knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media dynamics. You are a team player with core values of honesty and respect. You will be result oriented, accurate, proactive, flexible, creative with ability to pitch good business and contracts.
An agri-business background is desired but other industries will be considered.
